USF offers a unique Master’s in International and Development Economics – one that integrates rigorous training in Economics and econometric methods with fieldwork research outside the United States in emerging markets and developing countries.

USF combines an intimate classroom experience with personalized research direction from faculty advisors committed to the success of each student. The program provides students with the knowledge and analytical skills necessary to understand how market forces are harnessed to free developing countries from cycles of poverty, and to understand the importance of institutions that regulate these forces.
