The USF Application Process – in 6 Easy Steps

1. Once you know you’re ready to formally apply, submit your information on the form at the top of this page. A link will be sent to your inbox with a URL to create an account with USF.
2. Complete the required sections - Complete each application section at your own pace – in several days or months. You do not have to complete all sections of your application immediately.
3. Letters of recommendation – you provide the names and email addresses of your two recommenders, and USF will send them an email with easy instructions on how to submit their letters online.
4. Upload your documents – All of your application documents can be scanned and uploaded to your application account, including your university records, resume or CV, statement of purpose, TOEFL or IELTS score report.
5. Submit your application – After you have completed the required sections and uploaded your documents, you can submit your application. The application fee of USD 55 can be waived - please email USF at asgrad@usfca.edu for an application fee waiver.
6. USF scholarships – There is no separate application for USF scholarships. Each applicant is considered for a partial Program Scholarship once your application is complete and reviewed for admission by your Master’s program. In addition to Program Scholarships (USD 2000 to 8000), all applicants from Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Peru are eligible for First-Year College Scholarships of USD 5000 to 8000.
